Note also that print margins and boarders need to be considered by all applications/printer drivers etc.Īt the time I tested all this, I found that for whatever reason, one of my printers did produce a real size image but nothing I tried would make the other one print correctly. You have to make sure "fit to page" is not enabled in your printer driver but it usually is. For example FreeCAD or Inkscape may well be exporting/printing perfectly but your printer drive might be scaling the output. But be aware that printing to real size is more complex that you might expect because your print job is often scaled in many places i.e. As Ulrich said, exporting the svg and printing from Inkscape is a good idea. ![]() This was discussed in detail some time ago on this forum and I got it to partly work. Is it possible to print out my drawing in real size? I will cut the print out, glue it on a wood plate and cut it out whit a saw.
